Chick Singer Night

And I'm a chick singer.

I just got invited to play this month's Chick Singer Night at the Bitter End. The format is 4 female singers - myself, Deb Ferrara, Lisa Copolla, and Sibvon Rose - performing with the crack Chick Singer Night house band. I did this show a few years ago and it was a blast. This evening's show is a benefit for the Libby Ross Breast Cancer Foundation. This is a cause near and dear to me right now, since my friend and fellow singer-songwriter Victoria Lavington was just diagnosed with this disease.

The show is Tuesday, October 27 at 8pm. Details are on the Calendar page.

best buy gig

I'm going to be doing an instore performance at Best Buy in Manhattan at the end of this month. It's at 6th Avenue and 23rd Street in Chelsea, so I'll get to walk there. Which is how I like to book all my gigs. I'll be playing guitar and Irwin will be playing bass. I haven't done a guitar gig in a while (I've been playing more keyboard recently), so I really have to practice.

In the meantime, I'll be watching Glee on TV tonight. Yes, I was in Show Choir in high school. The ribbing may begin.
